HOW DOES IT WORK?

For its 4th year, TALMA AUCTION keeps on moving forward, without losing its principle: offering the best of our genetics, from quality amateur horses to those made for Big Sport, directly from the breeding. Horses presented in this sale are born in Talma, grew in our fields and started their life respecting their bodies and their welfare. .

In order to have every information you need, we made a small recap:

When?

The auction will be on Tuesday, October 8th.
The stables will be open from 11am. Horses will be presented from the beginning of the afternoon.

Who?

Our full generation of three year-olds will be auctioned, that is about 20 horses. On top of that, we will add some foals born this year and pregnant broodmares.

News 2024: Older horses ("performers") will also be auctionned. From 4 year-old and older, these horses were started under saddle by our own teams and will complete this collection. Bred from our best damlines, the buyers will have the chance to start in competitons immediatly with them!

How does it work?

This auction is an "hybrid auction" (bidding online and on site simultaneously). Haras de Talma is the only seller of this auction, there is no intermediate between buyers and seller. For the management of the auction system only, we made a partnership with Balsan Enchères.

You will find all the details of the horses presented, their videos, their description, xray files, etc. on the auction website by mid-September.

The performers will be available for trials in the weeks before the auction: more information coming.

On Tuesday, October 8th, the horses will be presented again. 3 year-olds will be shown free-jumping, the foals, broodmares and performers will be presented in hand.

You will be able to place your bids immediatly on the horse of your choice, either on place or online in the same time.

How to take part?

You can already register on the auction website.
The registration is without commitment. You'll be able to access to all the horses' details, receive the informations by email, etc.
On October 8th, only people with a registered and validated account will be able to place a bid online.
ATTENTION: for those who already have an account on the website www.talma.auction, you will need to create a new one on the new platform.
